37.2% CONCESSION USED IN RAILWAY PRIVILEGE FREE PASS, 52% Sr Citizen मुंबई नियंत्रक एवं महा लेखापरीक्षक (CAG) ने खुलासा किया है कि प्रिविलेज पास के तौर पर रेलकर्मियों को दी जाने वाली रियायत से ही रेलवे को घाटा हो रहा है। इसी हफ्ते संसद में रखी गई इस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, भारतीय रेल की रिजर्व टिकट किराए में दी जाने वाली सभी तरह की रियायतें कुल यात्री टिकट आय का सिर्फ 11.45% हैं। इन रियायतों का सबसे बड़ा हिस्सा (52.5%) तो रेलवे खुद अपने कर्मचारियों को प्रिविलेज पास देकर लुटा देती है। प्रिविलेज पास पर रेलकर्मियों और उनके परिजन को साल में एक से 6 यात्राओं तक शत-प्रतिशत रियायत मिलती है। इसके ज्यादा बार यह सुविधा लेने पर किराए में 66.67 प्रतिशत रियायत मिलती है। वर्ष 2015-18 तक प्रिविलेज पास के कारण रेलवे को 2759.25 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है। 53 तरह की रियायतें एसी क्लास में प्रिविलेज पास का इस्तेमाल हर साल 5.7 प्रतिशत की दर से बढ़ा है। भारतीय रेलवे 53 तरह की रियायतें देती हैं। औसतन एसी क्लास में प्रति यात्री 667 रुपये और नॉन-एसी क्लास में 157 रुपये की रियायत दी जाती है। रिपोर्ट म
