The bill banning cow slaughter in Maharashtra, pending for several years, on Monday received the President's assent, which means red meat lovers in the state will have to do without beef. This measure has taken almost twenty years to materialize and was initiated during the previous Sena-BJP government.The bill was  first submitted to the President for approval on January 30, 1996.. However, subsequent governments at the Centre, including the BJP led NDA stalled it and did not seek the President’s consent. A delegation of seven state BJP MPs led by Kirit Somaiya, (MP from Mumbai North) had met the President in New Delhi recently and submitted a memorandum seeking assent to the bill. तेज दिमाग चाहते हैं तो बोलने से पहले बरतें यह सावधानी तेज दिमाग की चाहत रखते हैं तो बोलते वक्त आपको यह सावधानी जरूर बरतनी चाहिए। अगर हम तेज बोलते हैं, तो स्पीच को कंट्रोल करने वाला हमारे दिमाग का हिस्सा काम करना बंद कर देता है। एक ताजा अध्ययन में इस बात का खुलासा हुआ है। दिमाग के इस हिस्से को फ्रेंच फिजिशियन पियरे पॉल ब्रोका के नाम पर ‘ब्रोकास एरिया’ कहा जाता है।  यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ कैलिफोर्निया, बर्कले और जॉन हॉप्किन्स यूनिवर्सिटी के वैज्ञानिकों ने अब पता लगाया है कि ब्रोकास एरिया एक तरह से स्विच ऑफ हो जाता है, जब हम ऊंचा बोलते हैं।  अध्ययन के दौरान न्यूरो साइंटिस्ट ने दिमाग के लैंग्वेज सेंटर को मुख्य रूप से बातचीत ग्रहण करने और प्रस्तुत करने वाले दो हिस्सों में बांट दिया था। इस आधार पर वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि ब्रोकास सेंटर स्पीच प्रोडक्‍शन का केंद्र न होकर दिमाग के विभिन्न हिस्सों में सूचनाओं के संयोजन का कार्य करता है।  इस खोज से स्ट्रोक, एपिलेप्सी और ब्रेन इन्जरी जैसी परेशानियों से निजात पाने में मदद मिल सकती है। 

Central Railway Solapur-Nagpur Division Not Have Any Alcohol Testing Machine In Indian Railway millions of passenger travel in reserved class. Few passengers have liquor drinking habit and this cause trouble to normal passengers. Many passengers drink liquor by mixing it in soft drink and nobody take objection to drink soft drink in public place. After drinking alcoholic liquid these passenger misbehave other passengers but RPF is unable to help innocent passengers. In an RTI reply from Central Railway RPF confirmed that Solapur and Nagpur Division have no alcoholic tester machine using which man can be detected as alcoholic . The traffic police use this equipment to avoid accident and fine them but central railway is not serious in this precaution.
