No IPO Details Before SEBI Formation Available At Department Of Economic Affairs

Delhi: Department of Economic affair denied to provide information that which IPOs was approved under Capital Issues Control act 1947 before SEBI formation in 1992. Many IPOs listed in exchanges but so such approved list shared by DOEAF . As per PIO the information is 20 years old so they cannot provide it. It means they will not provide the name of finance ministers which appointed since independence . All the record 20 years old is destroyed? Nice excuse given given PIO to deny information . They donot want to share list of companies which got approval from DOE before 1992 so that fake companies will get benefit for that. In BSE more than 5200 companies are operating and in NSE 2200 approx companies are listed .
