Mumbai: Why Magistrate Permission Needed To File Case?

Mumbai: At Mumbai CMM Courts magistrate permission is needed to file case. After magistrate permission case number is alloted. This process causes filteration of cases and filing case depends on magistrate mercy. In past when Sapan Shrivastava filed criminal defamation case against judges of Bombay High Court on 16 September 2019, the 64th Metropolitan Magistrate Esplanda  Shri Narendra joshi denied to give case number without argument . The complainant deny to argue and still complaint is pending in court without numbering. Later Sapan Shrivastava filed Writ Petition at Supreme court for obstruction to justice. In Mumbai few magistrates deny case filing against their bosses so 64th MM court magistrate denied case number against Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog criminal defamation case. Inspite to decide matter on merit they deny case number .
In thane and Belapur courts the case numbers are alloted first and later the file put before magistrate for identification.

CBSE is Taking Action Against Omkar International School Dombivli and Podar International School Kalyan

Thane: CBSE informed Honorable Bombay High Court in a PIL that it is taking action against Omkar International school (CBSE) MIDC Dombivali East in 8 weeks. The contention is that the Omkar School is operating two other board schools in CBSE premises. As per CBSE affiliation norms no other board school can operate in CBSE premises. As per petitioner the 2 schools from other board ie ICSE and CIE are illegal school and it will attract penalty Rs 10000 per day. The state has not conducted investigation till date. The Podar International school is using CBSE word without affiliation and also have same issue ie other board schools in same premises. As per CBSE website affiliation has not been renewed of Omkar School since expiry.
