CBSE is Taking Action Against Omkar International School Dombivli and Podar International School Kalyan
Thane: CBSE informed Honorable Bombay High Court in a PIL that it is taking action against Omkar International school (CBSE) MIDC Dombivali East in 8 weeks. The contention is that the Omkar School is operating two other board schools in CBSE premises. As per CBSE affiliation norms no other board school can operate in CBSE premises. As per petitioner the 2 schools from other board ie ICSE and CIE are illegal school and it will attract penalty Rs 10000 per day. The state has not conducted investigation till date.
The Podar International school is using CBSE word without affiliation and also have same issue ie other board schools in same premises. As per CBSE website affiliation has not been renewed of Omkar School since expiry.

Action against school is fine at the same time admited students education must not be affected with whatever decision is made.

ReplyDeleteIt's very irritating that d concerned Govt authorities still hv not developed any machinery to identify n restrict such illegal institutions to operate at d initial stage only .The responsibility of concerned Govt authorities if any must be fixed n stern action be initiated simultaneously against all involved to curb such malpractices

ReplyDeleteAnother thing they charge enormous bus fees, since the bus doesn't operate during annual.holidays, the should refund or adjust during the next academic year for I C S E

Take donations in the name of welfare only in cash, cheques and online payments are not allowed. Well done education distributors shame on you

ReplyDeleteThere is no control on these type of schools.They increase bus and school fees enormously. There must be strict control over these school on quality,fees and facility services.

ReplyDeleteMy child is learning in Omkar school in CBSE Board. The school has directed us that they are going to shift my child in new building which is situated near Thakurli station. Can Omkar school shift students from one place to another place while CBSE Board is existing in current building of school before ICSE & ISC board. I think for the ICSE & ISC board the school is making victim to CBSE Board students.. Please

ReplyDeleteIf the school is illegal then hw its been operated fo last 15 years they started with state board, icse n igcse n at last they started cbsc board . Last so many years govt. Was sleeping or what hw its still existing . Omkar is known as d best school in Dombivali . To ye illegality govt. Se kase chupi . Nw if they take strict action all students hv to suffer unnecessary .instead govt. Should take its authority n operate the school .

I have taken admission for my son at CBSE board for LKG....thakurli is very near to me and bus services are good. What is the school s next plan. Please update if anybody has information.

Even Don bosco pre school at thakurli don't have registration no.as they say though it is mandatory as per the Maharastra pre school centre act 1996
