PIL against Kakad Arcade Complex, Marine Line Mumbai




Mumbai: A Public Interest Litigation has been filed at Bombay High Court to stop the commercial activity at Kakad arcade Shopping complex , near Bombay Hospital, New Marine Lines, Mumbai.
As per petitioner the building is in dilapidated condition and using residential complex for commercial use. As per BMC act it is illegal to use residential structure for commercial purpose. Petitioner has pray to court to seal the premises for the safety of citizens. Earlier the medical shop owner Dava Bazar  registered fake FIR against petitioner for asking fire NOC in April 2017 by bribing police at Azad Maidan Police station. No amount of extortion was mentioned in FIR and the petitioner was behind the bar for 2 weeks. This is the side effect for hurting the PIL activist illegally by Dava Bazar. All the past facts has been mentioned in petition.

CBSE is Taking Action Against Omkar International School Dombivli and Podar International School Kalyan

Thane: CBSE informed Honorable Bombay High Court in a PIL that it is taking action against Omkar International school (CBSE) MIDC Dombivali East in 8 weeks. The contention is that the Omkar School is operating two other board schools in CBSE premises. As per CBSE affiliation norms no other board school can operate in CBSE premises. As per petitioner the 2 schools from other board ie ICSE and CIE are illegal school and it will attract penalty Rs 10000 per day. The state has not conducted investigation till date. The Podar International school is using CBSE word without affiliation and also have same issue ie other board schools in same premises.
