रेलवे कोर्ट Illegal हॉकर्स को जेल क्यों नहीं à¤ेजती ?
Mumbai: RPF Station In charges have no fear of their bosses at Mumbai division because all have stake in Hafta collected from Illegal hawkers. At Kasara Igatpuri section huge illegal hawkers selling water, vadapav, gutka , chocolates to railway passengers in train. In the video Hawkaers can be seen inside the train and at Igatpuri station. As per few sources Rs 1 lac approx hafta is daily collected from 300 hawkers on daily basis. The Sr DSC Sachin Bhalode enjoying this irregularities and IG AK Shrivastava also enjoying cream. Anytime food poisoning case can be happen and these illegal hawkers are overcharging and paying Hafta to RPF bosses . As per understanding every day few hawkers have to visit railway court for official penalty . So the hawkers association send few members on daily basis to fulfill targets of court and railway. The Railway court only penalise such illegal hawkers but as per provisions they can be put behind bar for 1 years.

Section 140 empowers a trying Magistrate to order a person habitually committing or attempting to commit an offence under sections 137 and 138 of the Railways Act to execute a bond of good behavior. Advantage of this section must be taken by the staff concerned for putting down habitual ticket less traveling particularly on the part of students, workmen, market-vendors, unlicensed hawkers and train beggars.
539. For the purpose of speedy prosecution of passengers who have committed offences under the Railways Act, special Railway Magistrates have been appointed who hold courts at stations which are notified by each railway. At other stations, where Railway Magistrates' courts are not situated, the Station Masters should arrange for the prosecution of ticket less travelers, beggars, hawkers, etc., in the nearest Railway Magistrate's court or the local court if there is one.
