MUMBAI: Bombay high court on Wednesday came to the rescue of a Std X student, whose marksheet was allegedly withheld by an international school in Powai over non-payment of fees of Rs 2 lakh. A division bench of Justices Satyaranjan Dharmadhikari and Bharati Dangre gave the student's parents time till December 1 to clear dues and directed the school to release his marksheet and other documents.
Advocate Sadhna Kumar |
The court was hearing a petition by the Vikhroli resident after S M Shetty International in Hiranandani Gardens refused to issue the marksheet of his son, who passed his Std X exams in June 2018. Advocate Sadhna Kumar ( Mobile Number 9702299426), counsel for the parent Laxmichand Gada, said they were not denying the arrears but had sought time to clear them in installments.
