- 401208 has not replied the royalty paid details of their huge civil
structure. The Company Director Shri Jhonson Pereira has not replied the
royalty paid details to mining department of civil work of aforesaid warehouse.
As per law the penalty is 3 times of royalty with 24% interest per annum. The Director replied on phone that they have recently purchased this warehouse which was constructed in 2002. He was not also aware of such law. The complaint has been registered to concern authorities for investigation.
As since last many years illegal mining are in process and buyers are purchasing minor mineral from sand mafia . The buyers get cheap product without taxes and involved in purchasing of thefted product. If
criminal process is also included then as per Honorable Supreme Court order FIR
of theft under IPC 411,379,411,406,120B,34
will be registered. Recently the reporter has filed the criminal PIL at Bombay
High Court on same issue after no reply of Collector Mumbai and ITC grand
Central Hotel Mumbai.
