Mumbai : Bombay high court chief Justice Manjula Chellur have negative mindset towards party in person petitioners . In a PIL hearing Sapan Shrivastava (in person) Vs SEBI ,senior advocate pointed out technical error that prayer has been changed without court permission during stamp registration. But he failed to quote rule number to prove violation.
During verbal discussion CJ said that all in person applicant think that they are above the law. She dismissed the petition and asked to file new petition with the help of advocate.
Later the Bombay high court Associate Sandhya Bharde confirmed that during objection process she put a note to "change the prayer" but she did not cross checked later that what the Petitioner has changed in petition. CJ has also Directed registrar general to investigate internal lapsing and asked report to be submitted soon.
As per the petitioner, few senior Advocates have extra liberty in Chief Justice Court to speak any time and put baseless allegation without proof. If same thing is done by normal advocate and in person, then it is misbehave. The another judge Justice Kulkarni behaved professionally in this matter. Few times she take very high interest in HNI matters .
In persons are petitioner without advocate. In the aforesaid PIL the subject was SEBI scam issuing IPO without clearing SEBI observation and approvals.
