RemarksReply :- 1. Central Railway
No such information is maintained by this office. However, whenever an unit is audited which is issuing these free passes/PTOs, transaction of a particular selected month regarding free passes issued/PTO issued is being test checked and suitable observations are made in Inspection Report, if necessary.
Western Railway
No such information pertaining to Western Railway is available as per CAG record/Report for the year 2012 to 2016

In view of remarks, above, this information is not available with this office.
Western Railway
Year wise details of value of free pass (in rupees) issued by Western Railway is not available as per CAG records for the years 2012-2016
3. Central Railway
No Draft Para on Irregularities noticed in issue of free passes by Central Railway during the years 2012-2016 was issued by this office.
Western Railway
Observations or irregularities in issue of free passes by Western Railway were not included in the CAG Report during the years 2012-16

CBSE is Taking Action Against Omkar International School Dombivli and Podar International School Kalyan

Thane: CBSE informed Honorable Bombay High Court in a PIL that it is taking action against Omkar International school (CBSE) MIDC Dombivali East in 8 weeks. The contention is that the Omkar School is operating two other board schools in CBSE premises. As per CBSE affiliation norms no other board school can operate in CBSE premises. As per petitioner the 2 schools from other board ie ICSE and CIE are illegal school and it will attract penalty Rs 10000 per day. The state has not conducted investigation till date. The Podar International school is using CBSE word without affiliation and also have same issue ie other board schools in same premises. As per CBSE website affiliation has not been renewed of Omkar School since expiry.
