RTE 25%:Vacant Seats Admission are allowed But Authorities In Denial Mode


Thane Maharashtra:There are lots of vacant seat in Right to Education act 25% reservation quota in last 5 years. From class 1 to 5 there are many seats are vacant in private schools. Only at Mumbai and Pune it got full since 2015. But in other cities seats got vacant due to less awareness. A person of Thane tried for RTE vacant seat in Dombivli school for class 3 then District Education Officer Thane and KDMC education department denied such admissions. They said verbally that there is no such procedure for vacant seats. But they did not replied in writing . Then person approached Bombay High Court for vacant seats admission . In the front of Chief justice bench their tone changed. Advocate of School and education department said that school should be made party where he want admission and present school where boy is studying. He did not defended that there is restriction of admission in vacant seats. So Chief Justice made party to both the schools who denied RTE admission in vacant seats. Mr Praveen of Saint Mary School Dombivli (RTE 25% vacant seat) and Fatima Convent School, Dombivli (Illegal School-not approved where boy is studying )made party in this case.
The Public servants Meena Yadav Shedkar, DEO Thane and Suresh Awari of KDMC Education fools parents about RTE 25% admission. The school fills these vacant seats by general students and bribe such officials.But at Mumbai BMC education inspector said BMC education giving admission in RTE vacant seats as per section 3 and 4 of RTE 2009 act.

RTE & School Quota Of Kalyan Dombivli KDMC Region Thane

 Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Region School Quota and RTE 25% quota details received from RTI reply from KDMC Education department. Almost in all the schools free education seats for income below Rs1lac is vacant .The vacant seats are illegally filled by private school in open category by private schools by taking donations. KDMC education didnot taken any action. Total approved strength of class is 4 times of RTE quota. If RTE 25% quota is 25 then approved students limit is 100 students. Means 75 students from general and 25 from RTE 25% quota. In all the schools students are more than from approved strength and RTE 25% seats are vacant. It means RTE seats are filled by general students. As per RTE Act 2009 poor quota seats ie RTE25% cannot be filled by general quota in any condition and at any class.
