Kalyan Rukmani Bai Hospital Child Unit Not In Operational, Condition Due To No Doctor


Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation Health Department (Thane District) are not getting Doctors since last 8 years for their Child Emergency ward NICU ie . Incubator

NICU Child incubator purchased by Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation hospitals was never used since purchase from year 2007. The Chief Medical Officer Dr Liladhar Maske said that we didn't got doctors to manage this NICU unit. NICU unit is used by premature child to keep atmosphere safe. KDMC says that the doctors are not ready to work due to low salary at KDMC, but fact is that there is a pediatric doctor at KDMC who can do treatment of premature baby. At kalyan , private hospitals are charging Rs 5000-10000 per day for NICU. This irresponsible attitude of KDMC health department benefit private hospitals. Few people says that KDMC doctors are getting commission for each transfer. Poor people come for delivery of child at KDMC hospital but in critical case they are blackmailed by KDMC management due to irregularities. The NICU equipment is lying in store but cannot be used for poor patients. A private doctor said that NICU is only warmer equipment which maintain temperature. A common nurse can operate it very easily. Only in very critical case doctor is needed.

RTE & School Quota Of Kalyan Dombivli KDMC Region Thane

 Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Region School Quota and RTE 25% quota details received from RTI reply from KDMC Education department. Almost in all the schools free education seats for income below Rs1lac is vacant .The vacant seats are illegally filled by private school in open category by private schools by taking donations. KDMC education didnot taken any action. Total approved strength of class is 4 times of RTE quota. If RTE 25% quota is 25 then approved students limit is 100 students. Means 75 students from general and 25 from RTE 25% quota. In all the schools students are more than from approved strength and RTE 25% seats are vacant. It means RTE seats are filled by general students. As per RTE Act 2009 poor quota seats ie RTE25% cannot be filled by general quota in any condition and at any class.
