For officer transfer after Every 3 years. This policy is designed by consulting AIRF ie union of railway employees. The public advise not invited to make transfer policy. The transfer means changing the seat from one office to another in same city. Due to this many employees never transferred from one city to another. Even sensitive post employees are holding positing for 10-15 years. In Mumbai transfer means from CST to Dadar or DRM office to Head quarter for officers. Many officers never posted from Mumbai for 10-15 years and getting promotion. Few says every transfer has fixed rate from 50k-2lac due to this other employees of outside Mumbai division never get posted in creamy division. Common Man should register complaint and insist of transfer.
A police Inspector got transferred from Mulund Octrai post to chembur Police station. So police officer missed Mulund creamy police station. He approached Bombay High Court that without completion of 3 years he cannot be transferred. At court Police advocate said that we have change his duty& responsibilities and he is never transfered from Mumbai region. If he got transferred to other city then he can claim his stay . So in Indian Railway change of duty and responsibilities is treated as transfer.
