Illegal Poddar International School at Thane

Podar International School Permission Denied By Thane District Education Committee For 2015-2016
               School Is Under Operation.....

Podar International School Thane Hiranandani Branch permission is denied by District Education Committee of Thane District. To open any school of any board under self finance act, should take permission from local District Education Officer. 113 schools has applied for permission to open new school but only 1 got permission  in 2014 . The reason for blocking Podar International School Thane (CBSE and CIE) is land deal. The land agreement should be cleared by legal team which is to be of minimum 30 years on lease or the land should be in the name of trust. The permission was denied on 9th Sept2014 by Education Committee. Our team investigated that the Thane School has initiated the admission process with fees of Rs48000 approx per annum for primary. When a person visited the school for admission and demanded the permission copy then Podar International School Thane staff said that the copy is available at head office which is at Santacruz. 
When we communicated to Podar Education trust Parel , then officer looking the permission issue Mr Shivalkar said “ we are confident that our Thane branch will get permission from higher authorities in the month of Jan 2015”. They assured that none of the school will operate illegally violating any law. Our team is also examining the papers of Podar International School in government record for public awareness.

RTE & School Quota Of Kalyan Dombivli KDMC Region Thane

 Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Region School Quota and RTE 25% quota details received from RTI reply from KDMC Education department. Almost in all the schools free education seats for income below Rs1lac is vacant .The vacant seats are illegally filled by private school in open category by private schools by taking donations. KDMC education didnot taken any action. Total approved strength of class is 4 times of RTE quota. If RTE 25% quota is 25 then approved students limit is 100 students. Means 75 students from general and 25 from RTE 25% quota. In all the schools students are more than from approved strength and RTE 25% seats are vacant. It means RTE seats are filled by general students. As per RTE Act 2009 poor quota seats ie RTE25% cannot be filled by general quota in any condition and at any class.
