Pune: A Private Deemed University established under new act ie Ajeenkya DY Patil university act 2014 is involved in political activity signals negative for students. The Trustee Mr Ajeenkya DY Patil involved in political activity. This university campus is also outside pune municipal area and the approach to the university campus is more difficult. The city bus stop is 3-4 km away from university gate. The Auto rickshaw charge as per their wish and it is also difficult to get public transport near university. Due to the university the builder lobby get activated and lots of new construction grown up with huge price band. There is no report that which committee has framed fees structure and college is charging huge fees for any course. As per act a retired judge committee will design fees structure for all the courses. Students should read whole act under which this university is established . As per this act university cannot launch his own course. Every college should start new course with proper approval. Extension of college or courses in new city is not allowed.
The hostel is also costly with Rs1.75 lac per student /year. There is 3 beds in single room which will cost approx Rs 5 lac to 3 students.Its very expensive for poor students. Read all the regulation and act before taking admission else it will hit your pocket in near future. Its better to follow Govt. university for cheap education because nearby flats are also too expensive.
