Mahatma Gandhi Given His Surname To Indra as "Gandhi" Nehru-Khan-Gandhi Dynasty : Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of modern India, and he ruled the country from 1947 to 1964. He was born on 14th November 1889, to Motilal and Swarup Rani Nehru.
