7000 News Paper Got Rs450 Cr Advertisement Per Year - RTI


Government Of India release Rs 450 Cr amount of advertisement to around 7000 news paper across India per year from 2013-2014 .Leading news papers received 70-80% of total fund, but local news papers received only peanuts.Directorate of Advertisement and Visual Publicity provided the data from 2010-2015 June in RTI reply .In 2013-2015 the budget was around 400-450 cr,but in 2011-2013 it was around 300cr. The breakup of each news paper is in attached file. This data of electronic media channels is awaited .

Mahatma Gandhi Adopted Feroze Khan For Indira Marriage & Gave "Gandhi" Surname

Mahatma Gandhi Given His Surname To Indra as "Gandhi" Nehru-Khan-Gandhi Dynasty : Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of modern India, and he ruled the country from 1947 to 1964.  He was born on 14th November 1889, to Motilal and Swarup Rani Nehru.  The family belonged to a Kashmiri Brahmin tribe called ‘ Pandit.’   Indira Gandhi, daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, became prime minister of India in 1966. Mrs. Gandhi was born on November 19, 1917 to Jawaharlal and Kamala Nehru.  She was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. She fell in love and decided to marry Feroze Khan, a family friend.
